We focus so much on ourselves, we sometimes forget about the Cowboys in our life. Whether it’s deciding to buy that cute Coach purse instead of a Shotgun or a hot pair of jeans instead of replacing his worn out rags he wears everyday. Today, we are going to focus on him what his needs are, because sometimes it’s important to step back and remember who the man of the house is and that we need to treat him every now and then. Or if you are a Cowboy reading this, maybe you are needing to replace those worn out boots that either need to be resoled or trashed!

The men in our lives can be ranch Cowboys who dress up in the typical Cowboy gear everyday or maybe he needs something to wear when he takes you out in your little black dress. We’ve got it all right here!

Sometimes we have to stop and remember that Cowboy in our life. Whether it is a gift for your dad, your husband, or even just that special someone for a birthday or just because. Men like to receive things too, especially when they need it!

After all, Men can Live Life in the Fashion Lane, too….we just have to help them out a little bit!

Reese Witherspoon, really what can you say about her that we don’t already know? She is down to earth, super gorgeous in workout clothes or all dressed up, and she seems to be a great mom. If you didn’t know she was one of the highest paid celebrities in Hollywood, you would think she was just like you!

Today on Cowgirl in the City we check out a very easy to put together look. Simple, but yet you can wear it out with the girls or as you run around town, whichever!

Start with a good long sleeve shirt, being a Cowgirl, many of us have a ton of these in our closets and may not have to go far to find one. But if you’d like a fitted one, try something like this.

I love decorating even though it can be very overwhelming sometimes. With the right pieces it’s actually easier than one would expect, but for most of us we still have some of those hand me down pieces that we don’t like and go with nothing. Those are the things that make it a little more challenging! Otherwise, the right pieces can be moved and rearranged and look fabulous anywhere!

Today we are going to look at some fabulous pieces that hopefully you can use in your living room, bedroom, or even kitchen with ease. And remember, have fun decorating. If you aren’t sure about a piece, leave it there overnight…you’ll know in the morning.

Remember to have fun with it and change it around every now and again, especially if you’ve been in the same house for awhile!

A night out among friends or a loved one is always fun! This Friday our Cowgirl in the City look is all about that fab night out that we all deserve after hard work, lots of chores, and for some…chasing the kiddos around! Our inspiration? Jessica Simpson! She is always gorgeous, dressed up or dressed down. Today’s look is all about Spring coming this way and the fun frilly dress but cool nights.

Jessica pulls off a very fun and feminine look but adds a hint of leather for those cool evenings that we seem to see even here in Texas! This look could be great to go from a day of shopping or eating lunch with the girls to a night out dancing. If you don’t want to wear the heels, throw on some boots baby and step out just as cool and confident!

Jeans – Oh how I love me some comfy jeans! They are so versatile. Put on a sweatshirt or tank and a pair of flip flops and run to the store for milk, wear this for Bunko night, or to the grocery store. What makes this so great is you can take this same pair of jeans and by changing your shirt and shoes, adding a few accessories….viola! Same jeans, same comfort, different look. With today’s options jeans come in a variety of styles to choose from. Here are some of our favorites.

These two jeans are relaxed fit and make riding horses or cleaning stalls a little it easier on you. With comfort and looks they would even be great to wear to your next upcoming show. Pair them with boots, tennis shoes, and if you want even a pair of heels.

It doesn’t matter what your event, you can find great pieces to work in your wardrobe when you saddle up and ride off. It’s like getting dressed for a cocktail party anytime we girls get dressed up we feel good, it lifts our spirit. We can look good as we ride into the arena with ease.

Simple goes a long way when you choose the right pieces. We have so much going on when we go to an event that we sometimes neglect ourselves in order to take care of our ponies, but this doesn’t have to be the case. With just a few simple pieces we can shine in the arena.

Relax. Breathe. Shine. It really can be that simple (most of the time). Easy accessories will finish this look off. Wear what is comfortable to you, something you wear and forget you have it on. Those are always the best pieces.
