Call Of The Wild

I have realized my dreams of having a fancy schmancy office have not been fulfilled yet because of one simple reason. I can’t decide how I want to decorate it.  I am so passionate about fashion because of the fact it changes and I can make transitions from one look to another with relative ease. And I do this quite often. But with decorating my home, making those changes could get really pricey and storing all my different “looks” could get quite difficult.

One day, I long for red walls and eclectic accessories and furnishings. The next my mood moves me to craving traditional, warm, and cozy surroundings. But today, I am feeling a bit wild. The animal print trend is definitely a constant in fashion but I really think I could embrace it in home furnishings.  In fact, I think I may need to intergrate some into what ever decor I decide upon. My print of the moment is ZEBRA. Its fun and looks fab with all colors.

Below are some of fav. accents for bringing out the wild side of my office.

This desk and chair inspired this entire post. I may be in LOVE!!

Desk and chair are both from the King Ranch website

Remember, like in fashion, prints in a small dose go a long way!! Use them as accents or as a focal point. Too much and you look like your living on the set of Wild Kingdom.

Happy decorating!!

Definitely go with the Zebra…I love to decorate and look for all kinds of ways I can add a little animal print to my home. You probably want warm colors for your office ~ I did my office in browns and blues and just love it. My friend made floor length draperies with a cheetah accent fabric which came out beautifully! Love it! Zebra looks great with almost all colors pink, red, green, etc. My husband is even making “Zebra” Acrylic Pens in his workshop now ~ gorgeous.
