Sleepy Cowgirls go to dreamland…

admin March 31st, 2009 No Comments

Bath and Body works created heaven when they developed this line! My wonderful sister in law gave me a gift basket of this heavenly stuff the night before my wedding. I was wound up pretty tight that night, okay I was stressed and freaking out. Then I ran a bath, put on some lotion and sprayed a heavenly mist. Before I could count one single fluffy sheep I was off in dreamland riding into the sunset with my new husband!

Every Haute cowgirl knows that its very fashionable for our ponies to be just as chic as we are. I mean they do serve us well and what’s a cowgirl without her trusty steed?  So how perfect is it that Rhinestone Cowgirl not only outfits haute cowgirls but haute horses as well?

I have a serious addiction to bronc halters and they make custom ones! I seriously think I need one with the HC logo!

Desert Glam: Southwest Inspired Beauty

admin March 31st, 2009 No Comments

Ranch Glam and its beautiful proprietress Liz have just unveiled a new line, named Tuscon.  Made from high quality gemstones, many also feature sterling silver pendants, Tuscon is inspired by the southwest and radiates desert glamour. The truly fabulous thing about this new line is its affordability. Liz kept in mind the rocky economic times and prices these fabulous pieces so that cowgirl fashionistas don’t have to sell the ranch to don some lovely rocks.

Here is just a sample of what there is to pick from.

Intoducing Astali

admin March 30th, 2009 No Comments

On a daily basis I look at a LOT of jewelry. When I was introduced to Astali, it took my breathe away. They favor movement, handmade materials, organic materials, unusual materials, and re-purposed manmade materials. Astali turns the rough, rugged, and gritty, into something clever and sexy. Sexy descibes each and every piece perfectly. I am always drawn to objects that call for me to touch them. And I want to hold and feel each and every piece from their line.

Each handmade piece is crafted by the lovely Shannon De Jong. She crafts her jewelry from unexpected materials such as bullet casings, snake vertabrae, and guitar strings. Mixed with lovely elemants such has leather, turquoise, peacock feathers, and swarkovski crystals.  This is not your typical trendy jewelry line, this is art and a piece that could spark lively conversation.

Here are my favourite pics from Astali.
